Textbooks & Course Materials FAQs

 

How can I purchase my textbooks?


1)       Come into KU Campus Store with your course schedule and choose the books from the shelves yourself.  The textbook department is set up in alphabetical order by DEPARTMENT then COURSE then SECTION.  For example: ACC 121 ALL would be Accounting, course 121, all sections. Be sure to check how many books or items are required for each course.

 

2)       Place an order online using your course schedule.  By placing an order online you will have the option to choose from new, used, rental, or e-book versions of your textbooks.  Orders placed online may also be held at KU Campus Store for pickup free of charge or for you can have your order shipped to your home.  Orders that are selected for in store pick-up must be picked up no later than 1 week from the start of classes. Otherwise your order may be returned and subject to our 10% restocking fee.


What payment methods can be used for textbooks and course materials?

KUBstore.com accepts: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Bearbucks, Bookstore accounts and KU Campus Store gift cards. KU Campus Store accepts: cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Bearbucks, Bookstore accounts, and KU Campus Store gift cards.  

 

To use your credit card online, please be sure to enter your name exactly as it appears on your credit card. Fill out your billing address as it appears on your credit card statement. We need this information to take your order and validate your credit card, but will charge your card only when the product is shipped. 

We are committed to providing our customers with the highest security regarding credit card and personal information. For this reason, the presenter of a credit card or check must be an authorized signer on the account.  ID will be requested for all unsigned credit cards. 

For parents who wish to allow their son or daughter to use their credit card, we recommend that you add them as an authorized user. Parents may also choose to open a KU Bear Bucks account or place orders on our website that can be picked up free of charge at KU Campus Store.

Am I able to purchase my required course materials with Financial Aid?

Yes.  If you have excess financial aid money and would like to purchase your books before the money is disbursed, you may apply for a Bookstore Account through the Financial Aid Office.  Click here to go to Kutztown University Financial Aid website.

 

What does it mean if my course is not listed?


If a course is not listed, it usually means that we are still waiting to hear which textbook(s) may be used for that course. Please keep checking the site. We will update the information as it arrives at KU Campus Store.


Can I rent a textbook instead of purchasing one?
